Coaching for New or Aspiring Leaders is specifically designed to support those stepping into leadership roles for the first time. My support will help your staff to navigate this journey with confidence and competence. My approach is bespoke and based on your needs, but can include developing problem solving strategies, work on specific leadership skills such as effective communication or strategic planning, goal setting and review or confidence and resilience building. My work with new leaders aims to empower staff with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to thrive in their new leadership role, ensuring a successful and fulfilling transition.
My 'Stepping into Senior Leadership' course is designed to support new or aspiring senior leaders confidently step into Assistant and Deputy Headships. Delegates work through a course of 4 sessions covering triangulation of information for monitoring and evaluation cycles, how to give effective feedback, how to balance school improvement priorities with staff morale and how to walk the middle ground between the staff and the Headteacher! This training can be delivered 1:1 or with up to 4 staff members.
My 'Learning to Lead’ course is a perfect introduction to subject or middle leadership for new or aspiring leaders. Delegates work through a course of 4 sessions covering how to give feedback, conduct a book scrutiny and carry out learning walks and collate meaningful 'pupil voice' data in order to develop action plans with actionable steps for improvement.
This training can be delivered online or in person for up to 6 staff members.
