If your SENDCo is new to role or in need of coaching or mentoring, it would be my pleasure to help. I can support work on specific projects, co-write or review action plans or provide one to one support to develop leadership skills, systems and processes for monitoring and evaluation or simply the confidence in their leadership. If you have an aspiring SENDCo in your team or need to consider succession planning, I can work with aspiring SENDCos to bring them up to speed and prepare them to step into SEN leadership.
Using my experience of leading SEN reviews for Leicester City Council, we can work together to ensure that your school provides exceptional support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. I will work with Senior Leaders to evaluate your current practices and offers actionable insights to enhance your SEND provision. This can be done as part of a one or two day review or as part of a longer programme of review and support, considering the views of key stakeholders as part of the review and action planning.
Meeting the needs of the children with SEND can be a challenge, particularly with limited financial and human resources. I can work with your Senior Leadership Team to consider needs, current provision, resource allocation and opportunities for improving provision within budgetary, time and personnel constraints. Sometimes problems need a fresh perspective or a different approach to reach a solution; my knowledge and experience can provide this.
